Shailen Pathy

Shailen Pathy is currently a member of the class of 2025 at Daniel Hand High School in Connecticut. He has been fascinated with cooking and baking a variety of cuisines throughout his life, and he has experience working in professional kitchens. Through his first-hand experiences, he has seen edible food wasted through cooking processes, and he is passionate about changing the volume of food that is wasted, with a dual purpose of combating food insecurity.
